recruitment opportunity!

Creative Routes is looking to recruit new trustees who have had/are experiencing mental health issues, who can contribute their skills and experience to the management of this exciting, unique and highly original organisation.

We are particularly interested in hearing from people with experience in the management and development of community projects.  Experience, skills and knowledge in other areas such as basic accounting and fundraising would also be very helpful.

However a passion and commitment and vision to change the world and right the wrongs and discrimination inflicted on us mad miracles and a passion for innovations such as BonkersFest! would be so warmly welcomed too.

This is a great opportunity to make a huge difference to the mad, and the world, working with some of London’s most prestigious arts organisations.  We will organise a full induction and we will help to arrange any training that might be required.

We look forward to hearing from you!

Life after ‘de-normalisation’
First stop, join Creative Routes!

Creative Routes was founded because us nutters were sick of being victimised when we’re such mad miracles. What are nutters, who are the mad? ... We’re 2 slices short of a loaf, bananas, barking, bonkers rather than psychiatric terms (schizophrenia, psychosis, personality disorder) as these labels are misunderstood and cause unpleasant associations.

As a mad community lives are ruined by discrimination from the Normals, it’s the Normals who should be ashamed. We proclaim loudly that we are mad and proud since madness facilitates an outpouring of immense and unique creative energy and compassion.

Self Help Tips
1. Please try hard to
be miserable
2. Drag your mouth
down by the corners
3. Show the world normality
is a world wide epidemic
4. Glare, grunt, sulk and stew

‘That’s right folks,
nobody does it
quite like we do.’
